Montevideo, MN: Luther Haven is currently seeking CNAs who are interested in working at our campus. Certified Nursing Assistants will be responsible for providing assistance with activities for daily living (ADL) and restorative care to residents in a skilled nursing home setting. This includes assisting with eating, bathing, grooming, transferring, toileting, checking vitals, answering call lights, and providing care as directed. Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• Must be able to communicate well with residents, family, and other staff.
• Provide residents with high-quality personal care and services while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
• Document services are performed on computerized charting systems.
• Working with older adults and those with special needs while maintaining good customer service, patience, and compassion.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and requires moderate to heavy lifting, bending, and pushing.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Must be able to complete and pass a background check (e-mail required).

Shifts: 

• Days (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)- Both full-time and part-time openings
• Evening (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) – Both full-time and part-time openings
• Nights (10:00 pm – 6:30 am) - Both full-time and part-time openings

Includes every other weekend and a rotation for holidays. 

Wage: $21.39 to $28.63

$2.00/hour evening shift differential. 

$3.00/hour night shift differential.

Montevideo, MN: Luther Haven is a 70-bed skilled nursing facility that has opportunities for both part-time and full-time LPNs interested in making a difference and enriching the lives of our residents at our campus as a Charge Nurse. An LPN helps provide direct nursing care to our residents. Recent graduates are welcome!

Requirements:

• Individuals must have a current/active LPN license with the state of MN.
• Ability to monitor and coordinate resident care.
• Performs medical treatments, procedures, and medication administration with accurate documentation and according to care plan and department policies and procedures.
• Working with older adults and those with special needs while maintaining good customer service, patience, and compassion.
• Demonstrates ability and skill to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, co-workers, other healthcare professionals, and members of the community.
• Adheres to federal and state regulations, including Resident Rights.
• Document services performed on computerized charting systems.
• Function independently and as a team.
• Must have good communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be able to complete and pass a background check (e-mail required).

Shifts: 

Night (10:30 pm – 7 am); includes every other weekend and a rotation for holidays 

Hours per pay period: Full-time (64 - 80 hrs/pp) & Part-time (16 - 56 hrs/pp)

Evening (2:30 pm – 11:00 pm); includes every other weekend and a rotation for holidays.

Luther Haven has an opening for 2 part-time Care Helpers for our afternoon shift.  Responsible for non-direct resident care needs with passing water, serving coffee, passing snacks, passing meal trays, transporting residents, answering call lights, and light housekeeping tasks (such as picking up juice glasses, coffee cups, or meal trays that may be in resident rooms).

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently after training.                                             

• Possess a calm, friendly, courteous attitude.

• Be able to accomplish assigned work in a specific time frame.

• Able to lift, bend, and push.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and requires moderate to heavy pushing.

• Ability to walk long distances several times a day.

• The ability to read and follow directions.

• Must be able to use good communication to interact with residents and other staff.

• Basic computer skills needed for education classes that are required.

• Must be able to complete and pass a background check

 Shift:  3:30pm – 6:30pm

Hours per pay period:   21 hours (7 shifts – 3 hours per shift) ; Includes every other weekend and every other holiday

Wage: $18.19 - $24.54
